Who Is Angelica Bautista Viloria?

Angelica Victoria B. Viloria is a graduate of BS Economics (magna cum laude) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She likewise has a Master of Business Administration degree (ranked as number 2 MBA graduate for Batch 1991) from the same university where she also taught Management, Marketing and Quantitative Analysis courses from 1988-1992. She completed her elementary and high school education at Poveda Learning Centre (now known as St. Pedro Poveda College).

Angel has 14 years of credit rating, business development, and publications experience gained from working with Philippine Rating Services Corporation (PhilRatings), a domestic credit rating agency. She started out as a Senior Analyst in 1992, rising up to Vice President during her years with the company. She was connected with PhilRatings from September 1992 to August 2006. With her work experience and skills, her present areas of interest are: credit evaluation, training, internet marketing, corporate communications/writing, and anything remotely travel-related.

Angel has been writing on the internet since 1995. She watches her two kids, local indie films, as well as her weight and cholesterol level. She hopes to live till 100 so she can eventually publish a book; continue to travel around the Philippines and the world with husband, Manuel; and so she can tell children by then what a "blog" was all about. She is passionate about being Pinoy and hopes to see the day when the Philippines will be peaceful, progressive, and prosperous.

She believes that everything in life is a blessing from God and that we are all right where God wants us to be.
