"Pare, you're so thin!" I greeted my friend this afternoon. What happened?

Turns out my friend started exercising this year -- 20 minutes on the treadmill on weekdays, 45 on weekends. Every. Single. Day.

Why the sudden need to be athletic? He was surprised to find out that his blood pressure was 160 over something.

I got scared when I found out that even though he had such high blood pressure, he didn't feel that anything was wrong with him. He actually felt good (except for a stuffy nose, but that was it). [more]

I'm trying out this new service that allows me to pre-write reminders that can be sent to me (or my friends, colleagues, customers, clients) via email. It's a service called LeadLightning and you can get more info by simply sending a blank email to:

angelicaviloria@leadlightning.com

It's similar to the usual follow-up email services that allow you to automatically send a series of messages to your customers (while you sleep), but I like it more because of the Reminder Service. [more]

Why marriages last: a discussion of the literature (By Robyn Parker)

It's quite a long (but worthwhile) read. For example, here are top seven reasons for marital success:

+ spouse as best friend;
+ liking spouse as a person;
+ marriage as a long term commitment;
+ marriage as a sacred institution;
+ agreement on aims and goals;
+ spouses becoming more interesting to each other;
+ wanting the relationship to succeed.

Have fun learning! :-)

Angel doesn't like salespeople who bug you every now and then with questions and suggestions, especially when you're just browsing or if you're deadset on getting clothes for a 2 year-old. ("Try nyo 'to... pang 3 year-old...")

Fortunately, some successful businesses have recognized that. [more]
