Leather Products: Getzon Enterprise
We chanced upon their bags at a Trade Fair in Megamall. They looked interesting and different and we were told that they were made of leather and "bariw" -- a kind of plant or crop (much like the pandan, if I remember correctly). We bought a few to give away to relatives living abroad.
Bariw is mid-brown in color and give their bags a "native look." The bags come in different sizes from small ones (good to hold a cellphone or wallet) to medium-sized and larger ones.
To get in touch with Getzon Enterprise to inquire or to order about their various leather and leatherette products and/or native bags, you can contact their manager, Beth U. Tianzon. Their factory is located at 1149 Camden Avenue, Brookside Hills Subdivision, Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. You may call their cell at +63 928 768 8759. If you do get in touch with them after reading this article, please let them know that you read about them here at viloria.com. Thanks!
