Korea TravelNow it's time to start the Jeju Island, Korea travel series. In the next few days, I will be recounting some memorable things during my visit to Jeju Island sometime May 2004. We took a Korean Airlines flight to Seoul, Korea from Manila at 12:30am. The flight schedule is a bit weird so we arrived in Incheon Airport in Seoul at about 5 am in the morning, or 4am, Manila time. I felt a bit dazed even as we made the transfer from Incheon to Gimpo Domestic Airport - where we were to take our flight to Jeju International Airport. It takes 40 minutes by bus to go from Incheon to Gimpo and about an hour by plane to get from Gimpo to Jeju International Airport. Jeju is a nice, relaxing place - with lots of opportunities to enjoy nature. The temperature then ranged from 14 to 17 degrees celsius so that was nice although at night, it got pretty chilly. It was also raining a lot - so aside from having to attend to official business, that kept us from going around the place more. Anyway, whatever places or activities we enjoyed, no matter how limited, I shall write about in the next few days. » Jeju, South Korea - Index of Articles[By Angelica Viloria | Thursday, July 8, 2004]
