Fly High Hang-over: The Real Reason Why Ateneo Won Over La Salle

Last weekend, out of the blue (pun intended), Adi asked me this question: "Why did Ateneo win over La Salle?"

My son, apparently, still had a hang-over (tagal na, 'no?) from Ateneo's winning the UAAP.

I was feeling a bit lazy so I said: "Why?"

Probably a bit disappointed that I didn't even venture a guess, Adi said: "You try..."

So, trying to come up with a good answer, I finally ended up with: "Maybe, Ateneo played better?"

Then, Adi said: "No. Ateneo won because they had more points..."

And there goes the true story behind one of the most followed UAAP championship games from the viewpoint of a 6-year old. The things we adults overlook ;)
