PLDT Landline Plus

My friend was carrying his PLDT Landline Plus mobile phone the other day.

So I asked him about it, and it's basically like a cell phone, except that you can use it to easily call PLDT landlines here in the Philippines. And the wonderful thing about it is it only costs P360/month.

PLDT is positioning it in the market as "your family's walkie-talkie."

If someone at home uses a regular PLDT landline and calls the PLDT Landline Plus mobile phone, the local call is free. The reverse is also true, except that the load allows you 300 mins per month. On the other hand, all PLDT to PLDT NDD calls are charged P1.00 per minute nationwide.

This is definitely much cheaper than having people at home call your cell phone. So if you're on the road often, for example, and your friends, relatives, or even clients regularly call you using their landline, give them your PLDT Landline Plus phone number instead so that they can call you for free.
