Globe Blackberry

You can now subscribe to Globe's new Personal Blackberry Plans for your Blackberry and Blackberry Connect handsets.

If you're a frequent email user, or if you go for instant messaging and even mobile internet surfing, you can get a personal Blackberry service via Globe Telecom's postpaid plans.

Maximize your use of the new Blackberry Storm and other Blackberry devices by subscribing to Globe's latest Personal Blackberry Plans, which combine Gplans and Gflex Plans. This, in effect, allows you to place a call, send an SMS text, and even experience the mobile internet all in just one package.

Plan 700 - Gives you 5MB of data, which is roughly equivalent to 55 emails per day (about 93KB per email).

Plan 850 - Gives subscribers 8MB of data, or 90 emails daily (91KB per email).

Plan 1100 - Allows 10MB of data, or approximately 115 emails each day (89KB per email)

I wonder, though, how this will address the issue of "useless" email. Will subscribers pay for such messages? Will those eat into your daily allowance? I hope Globe puts in some kind of whitelisting service which allows you to control who may send emails to your Blackberry email address.
