Photograph Perfect SmilesDid you know there's now an automatic way of taking photos of people smiling? You can now photograph perfect smiles with the help of Sony's Smile Shutter. Sony promises that you will "never miss another smile", because when you choose the Smile Shutter Mode in the Sony Cyber-shot Scene Selection Mode menu, the digital camera will track the face of your subject. And if the person in front of your digicam is not smiling, you will not be able to snap the picture. I wonder, though, if this will work if I'm taking a photograph of a toothless friend. How will the smile be detected, right? ;-) Anyway, this will not be able to screen out fake smiles, because the technology looks for whiteness in the mouth area. It does not check the eyes of your subject, to see if the smile is sincere or not. Now the question that remains is: Which Sony Cyber-shot digicam has this smile shutter mode?
