Writing and Web Site Traffic

Want more visitors to your web site? Then write!

Write articles and post them on your blog or web site. Commit to publishing online at least one article a week. And if your articles help your visitors in any of the three main aspects of their lives (i.e., love, health, money), then you will be rewarded with a flood of web site traffic.

If you just talk or write about yourself or your products, then what does that give your readers? Why will they come back if all you'll do is focus on yourself and your press releases?

I'm not saying don't talk about your own world. It's perfectly all right to do that. If you want more visitors, however, then give your readers something they can use: key information, tips, warnings, hints or tutorials.

If you're having a difficult time guessing what will click with your visitors, then try examining your own life, your own quest, or your own search for answers.

Were you trying to evaluate a service? Were you searching for reviews of a certain product, movie, or travel destination? Were you seeking advice on whether to buy a certain ebook?

And once you've found the answers, then write and share it online.
