Automatic Article Submission Doesn't Work

If you're trying to generate more traffic for your web site by submitting your articles to reprint sites, beware of promises of automatic submission.

There are many places on the web that accept your articles, because they are building a library of reprintable articles. Other web sites are starving for content, so they go to these online article libraries and copy some articles for their newsletter or web site.

The article writers benefit because their "About The Writer" resource box is (hopefully) displayed on all those other web sites which publish the reprintable article. The article library also benefits because lots of people are looking for content for their site. The other web sites benefit because they have instant access to pre-written articles.

I've tried submitting one article to one site, and it hasn't brought in any significant amount of web site traffic.

I'm not surprised. Since there are more than 50 article submission sites, it pays to submit your articles to as many sites as possible. Try searching Google for "submit article" and you'll find a whole bunch of them.

Now going from site to submission site can be boring and extremely tedious, so you'll sometimes see offers of "automatic article submission". I thought I would simply fill up ONE form, click on a submit button, and have that one submission automatically submitted to 50+ sites.

Unfortunately, "automatic" means you'll be brought from one submission page to another automatically.

Well, looks like it was too good to be true. The different article submission sites have different formats, varying forms, and diverse rules. No wonder it's hard to find a true auto-article submission program.

Perhaps if someone takes the time to go through the Top 50 Article Submission sites, gets them organized, classifies and categorizes those with common forms, then we'll probably see a web application that will do the job.

In the meantime, write and manually submit.
