Off To Cebu

No web site updates while I'm in Cebu. Be good, folks. Don't do anything I wouldn't. ;-)

I still have to pack, but my reading material is ready: Choke (by Chuck Palahniuk) and Angel and Demons (by Dan Brown).

Choke starts in a Lemony Snicket way of warning you not to read the book. Naturally, I've gone beyond the first few chapters, and the dark story will probably not appeal to some of the prim and proper folks I know. Anyway, I'm intrigued by the images that accompanied the accounts of urban legends and addiction of the non-alcoholic kind. Palahniuk also makes some references to Radiohead. I think I'll finish this book in the next couple of days.
