News Blackout

So this is how it feels to live in a world without newspapers. My schedule has gone haywire in the past few months that I don't even have time to read the papers these days.

Of course I miss it -- that's one of my favorite activities -- but with work, school, and my little projects here and there, I am swamped!

It sometimes feels like I'm living under a rock so I don't know what's going on around me anymore. Add to that the stress of not even having done my Christmas shopping, not wrapping a single gift -- so maybe the Christmas gifts will turn into New Year gifts or Valentine gifts. This is the first time this is happening ever.

Oh well, I will not let myself be stressed. In a few days, it will be Christmas and I refuse to have all these worldly concerns overshadow the celebration that comes with knowing that God truly loves me. I may be missing out on my daily fix of news but I can never be without the Good News. With the Good News, there is no blackout but only pure light.
