The St. Luke's Medical Center's Geriatric Center now offers a health program for senior members of the community. It's called the Adult Wellness Program. The Program focuses on all the aspects of a senior person's life -- from physical, to emotional, mental, spiritual, and cultural fulfillment.

For more details you can call 7230301 ext. 4175 or 4119.

The Adult Wellness Program will have classroom courses which include group and individual sessions in the following areas: relaxation, creativity, prayer, music and singing, rhythmic activities, as well as arts and crafts.

Some of the experts who will conduct the classes include: classical musician Francisco Feliciano; playwright, fictionist, poet and essayist Vim Nadera; choral conductor Jonathan Velasco; arts, religion and education guru Leah Tolentino; former Madrigal Singer member Ella Baarde and theologian Emmanuel Garibay.

If you happen to be a senior or if you have a senior member in your family, you may want to check out this Wellness Program. After all that the seniors have done for all of us, their remaining years should really be enjoyable and meaningful for them.
