Holly Hobbie

I remember having a Holly Hobbie planner (see, even then, I liked paper products!) as a child. Holly Hobbie is that female character with a blue bonnet and an early-American, old-fashioned look.

Don't look now, but Holly Hobbie appears to be making a comeback in stores these days. (Much like Strawberry Shortcake, I suppose -- which I also remember in my younger days).

I came across some Holly Hobbie and Friends items in Powerbooks about a week ago. It turns out that this newer, modern-looking Holly Hobbie is the classic Holly Hobbie's great granddaughter!

So, this Christmas, if you wish to give gifts to little girls, you may want to consider giving them some Holly Hobbie gifts. There are dolls, playsets, coloring books, and even a DVD entitled Christmas Wishes.

You can check out the following Holly Hobbie websites too: www.hollyhobbie.com and www.hollyhobbieclassic.com
