Tour Bird WatchingLooking for a place to take the kids in Kuala Lumpur? I'm sure they will enjoy going to the K.L. Bird Park, said to be "the world's largest walk-in free flight aviary." I'm 37 years old already and spending about 2 hours in the bird park was still very enjoyable. Entrance fee is RM 15 (or about P225). You'll see all sorts of birds: hornbills, lorries, ostriches, eagles, etc., etc. There's also a bird show where you can see cute birds ride the bicycle, spell, play basketball, and fly through hoops. The show takes about 15-30 minutes. They likewise have a place where one can have a photo op with two birds of your choice. If you have your own camera, they will charge you RM 5. If you don't have a camera, they can take your photo for RM 12. You can choose from the birds on display and also choose the way you want to pose (sitting down, standing up, whatever). So when in KL, whether you are with your kids or not, drop by the KL Bird Park. Have fun! » Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Index of Articles[By Angelica Viloria | Tuesday, July 6, 2004]
