When Bad is Good

My son Adi has started to learn how to bike. He hasn't succeeded yet - although I'm sure one of these days, he will. If he doesn't learn it, he'll survive. Take it from me, certified non-biker. At least, I can drive...

One time, my husband was trying to see how serious Adi was in learning how to bike. He asked Adi: "Adi, how badly do you want to learn how to bike?" Adi replied: "I don't want to learn bad. I want to learn good."

My husband and I smiled. We then had to explain what the question meant and why sometimes, wanting something badly enough can be good.

As in life, everything is a matter of understanding and perspective. What about you? What is it that you want badly?
