Summer Rains

Did you experience those April showers yesterday? Kind of strange, having rains in April. Then again, stranger things have happened.

It is the peak of summer in the Philippines. It's the perfect time to be at the beach (like I'd rather be in Boracay than in front of this computer) but with a more than one month old baby, who needs to see the sand? That vacation can wait.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the heat, but my creative juices haven't been flowing much lately. Then again, after yesterday's rains, I'm not as worried. Even in the midst of summer, some rain must fall...
