Hair-Pulling 101Once in awhile, my daughter Ali suddenly lets out a loud cry while sleeping. Upon checking her, we notice that she has a handful of her fine hair clenched in her little fist. She pulls her own hair, thereby inflicting pain upon herself, then cries... Doesn't she just remind you of us, adults, most of the time? A big portion of our problems are largely self-made or self-inflicted. We get ourselves into unpleasant situations then wallow in self-pity. I guess babies and adults have a lot in common.
