As a result, the Center for Global Best Practices offers a seminar called New Accounting Rules for SMEs, which will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Edsa Shangr-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.

Scope: Who Will Adopt the New Accounting and Financial Reporting Rules

This covers SMEs with the following characteristics:

Assets = P3 million up to P350 million
Liabilities = P3 million up to P250 million

You will need to pre-register in this seminar, which is accredited by the Philippine Institute of Accountants. And yes, participants will earn CPE credits. :-)

If your company is among the Top 20,000 corporations with investments in associate corporations or partnerships covered by the new rules, you need to understand how these new rules will affect your corporate earnings.
