Perfume Business Investment?

There's an entrepreneur who's looking for investors for his perfume business.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

He plans to market his perfumery products using the network marketing or MLM model, and I suppose he's trying to raise capital quickly.

This is one option: Invest P50,000 and get P100,000 worth of product (at suggested retail prices). Imagine the returns on that one, assuming you're able to indeed sell those perfumes. Double your money, right?

But the investment comes with an added bonus: 5% per month, paid in the form of postdated checks.

Whoa. You get double your initial investment (assuming you're able to sell those products), plus you get an additional 60% per annum return on your initial P50,000?

I know. Sounds to good to be true, right?

This makes me wonder how viable a perfume business is here in the Philippines. It may be more prudent to look into businesses that offer products which people actually want to consume.

Good luck, and here's wishing you success in your business! :-)
