Apple iPad

Are you excited to get the Apple iPad?

It's looks like the iPod, only bigger. About the size of a sheet of pad paper.

Here are the specs which I saw at Yugatech.com's It's the Apple iPad!

9.7″ display screen @ 1024 x 768 pixels
16Gb to 64GB Flash Drive
1GHz Apple A4 Chip
Bluetooth 2.1
WiFi 802.11n
3G optional (uses new micro-SIM)
10 hours battery life

But I don't quite like the brand name. It sounds almost like iPod.

And can you imagine the confusion it may cause in the future at some Apple store here in Manila?

Customer (C): Hi! I wanna buy an iPad.

Salesperson (S): Here you go, Sir.

C (puzzled): It's too big. I jas wanna get an iPad!

S: Yes, that is the iPad. It really has a 9.7-inch display.

C (adamant): No! Wag mo akong lokohin! I jas like da small iPad! Da one dat pits in my packet!

(Salesperson goes and gets the iPod.)

How about you, what do you think of the product name? I hope they don't come out with an iPone or an iTats in the future. ;-)
