Internet Marketing Philippines

There's a booming interest in internet marketing in the Philippines.

Pinoys all over the country are hearing about the internet marketing success of various bloggers and infopreneurs, who are earning dollars in terms of online advertising, affiliate marketing commissions, or even direct sales of ebooks, software, or even physical products.

Who hasn't heard of the mushrooming of hundreds of Multiply sites, where Filipinos sell anything from bags, to clothes, or even bracelets.

Yes, Pinoys are embracing the business side of the web, and are trooping to various internet marketing seminars that are offered in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao.

A main stumbling block that hampers the growth of Pinoy netpreneurs is this: FEAR.

Specifically, fear of technology and other techie stuff, and also fear of writing.

To succeed online, you need to publish your own unique information. It has to come from you and your experiences. Copy/pasting existing content is quite tempting, and many have gone down this route.

Such an approach, however, will only yield short-term benefits at best. If you want lasting success online, please create and share unique and relevant content.

If you can't write, partner with a writer. If you can't code, partner with a programmer. If you can't draw, partner with a web designer.

With so many partners, what will YOU contribute to the web? Share your thoughts, knowledge, and experience... with the help of your cell phone videocam. Simple!

Your partner techies will convert that video into something that can be shown on the web. Your partner writers will write the blog entries that will describe your video, so that the search engines will find your webpages.

The end result is that people will find you on the web, even if you're not a writer, and even if you're not a techie. And when they find you and like what you have to share online, there is a pretty good chance they will want to do business with you.

You don't even have to speak in English. You can record yourself speaking in Filipino, Tagalog, or Taglish. No matter which language you choose, let your personality shine through, and people will connect with you.

And that, in a nutshell, is successful internet marketing in the Philippines.
