I called them to ask if they have in stock Assassin's Creed 2 (for the PS3). Fortunately, they do (as of today). It's for Region 3, but the lady I spoke with told me that it will run even on Region 2 PS3's.

This second offering of AC gives you additional skills. For example, you can now swim. In the first release, Altair would instantly drown if ever he finds himself in water. That limitation lead to a number of situations where you can lure the soldiers who are chasing you.

For example, if you're perched on a beam above water, soldiers who try to go near you will end up falling into the lake.

I wonder, though, if those soldiers will now be able to swim in AC 2.
