Shampoo for Thinning Hair

Remember, it's not a case of reducing hair loss. Think of hair thickening shampoo, instead.

When it comes to thinning hair women have probably searched the web for an ideal shampoo. And while some products may claim to reduce or even eliminate hair loss, don't fall for it. Yes, some people might sound quite convincing when they claim they have the hair care product for men or women with thinning hair. But you know better than that.

With shampoo, there are hair loss prevention products that add volume to your hair. There are also other products that have a deep cleansing action, which may help decrease hair fall.

For added hair volume, the shampoo will typically be more alkaline. This makes your hair rough, and in the process makes your hair stand (thus adding volume). If you use this over the long-term, you'll end up with dry, brittle hair. Please use this sparingly.

Deep cleansers, on the other hand, remove Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) from your scalp. DHT, it is believed, makes hair fall. Just because you experience excessive hair fall, however, doesn't mean you should just find a solution via shampoo or other thinning hair products. I'm not a doctor, but it would help if you consult with your health care professional so that you can find the underlying reason for your hair loss.

And please do consult with your doctor and get more information about drugs such as finasteride or dutasteride.
