Do you want to market your real estate properties on the web?

Just remember to avoid taking things for granted. Such as email, for example. Just because someone emails you and asks for details such as sample cost computations of the different house or model units of this or that Philippine real estate condominium or house and lot, it does not automatically mean their system matches your own computer system.

For example, some property sales consultants prefer to attach huge PowerPoint files. In some cases, the attachment clogs up the email system so your prospect does not even see your email. In other cases, you might send a PDF file containing a nicely formatted cost sheet.

Well, guess what? Not all clients can open or view PDF files.

Okay... what about MS Excel spreadsheets? Don't be surprised, but some people are still unable to open xls files.

So when marketing your real estate projects online, think twice about sending file attachments without considering the computer system of your recipient. There is a particular file format, however, that works well with potential buyers of house and lots or condo units: JPG or image files.

Save time with your online real estate marketing efforts -- send jpgs instead. :-)
