Getting A Nintendo WiiIt's so tempting to go out and buy a Nintendo Wii right now. While the console can go anywhere from P17,000 to P22,000 in the Philippines, there's no denying the fact that the Nintendo Wii is the champion console yet again. Imagine, there are (according to the NPD Group) 11.4 million Wii systems, versus 10.7 million Xbox 360s and 5.1 million Playstation 3s. And out of the Top Ten Video Games of July 2008, the Nintendo Wii captured three slots: Wii Fit, Wii Play, and Mario Kart. Those are the games that I'll be aiming for once we get hold of our own console. I'm hoping, though, that Sony and Microsoft will get more aggressive in their marketing efforts, to help drive down the price of the Wii. Maybe. Or is it just wishful thinking? Anyway, I'm just your regular Wii boxing kind of guy. As long as lots of other people have fun as they gather around the Nintendo Wii during parties, then the console will be worth it.
