Brica DV 80 Camera

Did a few test videos using the Brica DV 80, and here's what I found out.

Video bloggers can record at a resolution of either 320 x 240, or 640 x 480 (AVI file).

The 320x240 has the following characteristics:

• Audio Bit Rate: 129 kbps
  
• Audio sample size: 4 bit
  
• Audio format: Microsoft ADPCM
  
• Video Frame Rate: 30 frames/second
  
• Data rate: 103 kbps
  
• Video sample rate: 24 bit
  
• Video compression: XVID
  

The 640x480 video has the following characteristics:

• Audio Bit Rate: 129 kbps
  
• Audio sample size: 4 bit
  
• Audio format: Microsoft ADPCM
  
• Video Frame Rate: 30 frames/second
  
• Data rate: 352 kbps
  
• Video sample rate: 24 bit
  
• Video compression: XVID
  

So if you video bloggers are planning to shoot a video using the Brica DV 80 for upload to YouTube, use the 640x480 setting.
