GMail Security and YouIs someone secretly reading your GMail? David Airey writes about his experience with Google's GMail Security Hijack, and advises people to check their GMail - Settings - Filters. For all you know, someone inserted a filter command that autoforwards your GMail messages which contain the word "password", for example, to an external email address. How did that filter command get inserted? Well, if you have the habit of keeping your GMail account open while surfing the web, you might have unwittingly visited a webpage that exploits the (now closed) GMail security issue. Please check your GMail filter settings and see if any messages are being autoforwarded. If you do find something like that (and you don't remember putting it there yourself), then just click the Delete Filter button and change your passwords immediately.
