The iBlog Mini: Blogging and the 2010 Elections kicks off on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the University of the Philippines College of Law. The half-day event runs from 9am to 12 noon, and is organized by the Internet Society Program and Janette Toral.

Manuel L. Quezon III will give a talk on Blogging and the Philippine Elections, where he provides a review of how bloggers played a role in the past Philippine elections.

Janette Toral will present ways for bloggers to participate more effectively in the 2010 elections, and Rachel Khan will moderate the insights and exchange of ideas portion which caps the event.

This event is free. As seats are limited, you are encouraged to register ahead of time.

I wonder who the presidentiables will send to this event. You've probably already seen some signs of blogs for 2010 aspirants. How effective will these sites be? It will depend on how the blogger provides content, and whether other people will link to such blog posts.
