Pacquiao on Mobile TV

Are you going to watch the Pacquiao - Barrera fight on October 7, 2007 via mobile TV?

Some relatives are getting P600 tickets to Robinsons Galleria moviehouse theaters, so that they can watch the "Will To Win" boxing bout with some softdrinks, snacks, and the company of other boxing aficionados.

Others will probably take a leave of absence from their work so that they can watch the event (complete with commercials and all) in the comfort of their homes. So don't be surprised if your favorite barber isn't around. He's at home shouting and shadow boxing.

Those who have to be on the road might watch Pacquiao via SMART's myTV, a mobile TV offering.

If you're curious about myTV, or if you want to try it for free (until Oct 15 only), please call *6988 or +63.2 888 1111 for more info.

You'll need a Nokia N77 (which comes free at Plan 2500 for Gold postpaid subscriptions or P23,990 only for Buddy prepaid subscriptions), or a Nokia N92 (comes FREE at Plan 1800 for Gold postpaid or P19,990 for Buddy prepaid). Please note that these prices assume that your subscription is bundled with the myTV service, and that postpaid plans do not include the myTV monthly fees.

myTV is initially available in Mega Manila, Cebu, Davao, Baguio and Batangas.

Just make sure that when you try the Pacquiao mobile TV experience, you don't accidentally end up punching the wall with your cell phone. :-)
