XBox Game Controller Overheats

I heard that the XBox is hot. Didn't know it was this hot.

In Holy smoke! Xbox 360 controller overheats you'll read about the overheating problems of the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel. Although there have been only 50 reports, would you still be willing to take your chances?

If really must use it (because you want to have a more realistic experience of the simulated car racing experience), then please don't plug it in. Instead, use battery power. Unless, of course, you want the "total" experience which comes with real smoke coming out of your game controller.

Argh! Motherboard problems, and now this. In spite of all these, it can be hard to resist the XBox, especially when it comes to Halo3.
