XBox $100 Price Drop
Did you hear that Microsoft lowered the price of its XBox 360 by $100.
That's in Canadian dollars, because the cheaper XBox 360 consoles are available in Canada.

In the Philippines, some people were practically able to get their XBox 360 for free. For one month's use, actually.
It turns out that after a month, the XBox 360 stopped working. So my friend (who paid about PhP 24,000) for the unit brings it back to the store. They store manager claimed that the XBox motherboard had to be repaired, and will therefore cost about P7,000.
My friend freaked out. The manager brought the repair price down to P3,500.
My friend went ballistic. The manager gave a full refund.
Hmmm... Why would the store be willing to lose P24,000 instead of P7,000? Anyway, I hope the XBox consoles sold in Canada perform better.
