Lost Amember Admin Password

Here's how to recover your forgotten Amember Admin password.

Amember is a script for membership sites, that allows you to handily manage all your subscribers. It protects you from those who decide to share their passwords online, and it also frees you from having to go crazy keeping track of all the different memberships.

Despite of this, Amember script administrators sometimes forget their admin passwords.

To help you reset your admin password, please download this:
http://www.amember.com/downloads/fixadmin.zip

Extract the PHP file and upload it to your amember folder. Run the PHP file, type in your new admin password, then delete the PHP file from your amember folder.

So although the system does not really allow you to recover forgotten admin passwords in Amember, it allows you to set a new password.

And if you feel bad about your failing memory, you can just blame technology and all those cell phone address books. :-)
