Monitoring Globe Visibility

I wrote in the past about Globe Visibility: Mobile Internet, so it would be interesting to track how happy mobile users are.

In Globe Visibility - Finally!, Marc Macalua describes his laptop set-up and his mobile 3G experience. He's using Globe as a back-up to his PLDT myDSL broadband connection.

He also talked about The Hub at the Podium. I dropped by there a couple of months ago, and I agree that the people there are lightyears ahead of those in other Hub centers. They're friendlier, more patient, and are more comfortable talking about Globe's products even when I ask a truckload of questions.

Too bad I missed the special promo (good only until Oct 25, 2006). I hope Globe will launch another promo in the future (free mobile browsing data card).

Abe Olandres is testing 3G on the road, so I'll be waiting for more detailed test results.
