Malaysian Problogger Turns 1

Malaysian problogger Liew Cheon Fong celebrates his blog's first anniversary.

About a year ago, he quit his day job and blogged at LiewCF.com and has relied on his problogging revenues. This has allowed him to spend more time with his family, since he does most of his work/writing from his home.

It is inspiring to see people overcome their fears and struggles (with the English language, for example) and succeed. I'm certain there were a number of doubters, both friends and family, who didn't think he would succeed with "this internet thing."

Liew is Malaysia's first successful full-time blogger. Abe Olandres is the Philippines' first successful problogger. I wonder how many more Asian problogging success stories we will read in the future.
