Email To Fax Service

An email to fax service allows you to send email to a special address, and have that message faxed to a certain phone number.

In some companies, the special email address starts with the fax number, followed by the @ symbol, followed by the name of the company offering email-to-fax services.

It can be quite convenient because it's easier to attach an MS Word document to an email, rather than print out the document, trudge to the fax machine, and wait for the documents to go through. Hopefully, no papers get jammed and the recipient's phone doesn't malfunction.

Then again, an email to fax solution might not be for you if you deal with printouts and other documents. Afterall, who wants to scan those and then attach the scanned images to email, right? Might as well go directly to the fax machine.

In the Philippines, the Email Company has a special email-fax service for its subscribers.
