PLDT DSL FTP IssuesDo you experience this kind of FTP quirkiness with PLDT DSL? Surfing is okay, and so is downloading via FTP. But if I upload JPGs (each around 40 to 64KB), the connection hangs and there's a server timeout. When I switch to a dial-up connection, I'm able to upload (via FTP). During the entire month of December 2005, FTP uploads (even large files: 1 to 5 MB) worked. Now, along with a speed drop (from 400 Kbps down to 220 Kbps) FTP uploads don't work with PLDT DSL. The test was done with three separate web servers. Are you experiencing this also? (I hope this is fixed by the Free PLDT DSL upgrades this January) Previous Entry Secondthoughts Index Next Entry
