Convert PDF to Word For Free

Here's how to convert PDF files to MS Word documents for free.

Get a GMail account and email yourself a PDF file. When you open the incoming mail, you'll see a "View as HTML" link beside the file attachment.

Open that HTML link then save it as an htm or html page in your hard disk.

Run MS Word and open that htm/html page. Save it as an MS Word document.

This works beautifully if the PDF file has a simple layout: No images, single column of text. If the PDF layout is more elaborate (i.e., has images, text is in tabular format), then this won't work.

If you need to convert more elaborate PDF files into well-formatted MS Word documents, try this.
