TCL Receives Grant from Children's Hour

The Children's Library has been awarded a P200,000 grant by the Children's Hour. The grant will be used for the library enrichment program of the Children's Library Corners in Pasig and San Juan.

New books will be purchased to augment the current e-World (books on computers, internet and technology), Math Whiz (boos on Mathematics and its branches), One Planet (books on religion, other countries and cultures and inspirational books) and Reference (almanacs, atlases, dictionaries and encyclopedia) collections of the Corners.

The TCL Corners were inaugurated in 2003 as part of TCL's continuing service to the community it serves. Since then, the Corners have benefited more than 30,000 patrons.

The TCL Corner in Pasig is located at the Pasig City Library - Learning Resource Center, inside the Pasig Elementary School compound along Caruncho Avenue in Pasig, while the TCL Corner in San Juan is inside the Pinaglabanan Shrine along Pinaglabanan Road in San Juan.

Both corners are open to the public Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 5pm.
