Walking Tours in Manila

If you're interested in taking a walking tour of Manila, there are at least two people you should get in touch with.

Carlos Celdran and Ivan ManDy are street walkers who will give you a professional walking tour of Manila:

Binondo (Chinatown)
Chinese Cemetery
San Miguel District

San Agustin Museum
Fort Santiago
North side of the Pasig River
Walking and Calesa ride through San Nicolas
Flea markets of Bangkal, Makati

It would be great if Carlos and Ivan would provide sample walking tours in MP3 format. For example, you could listen to an MP3 file using your MP3 player as you walk down Malate, for example.

This way, you can sample the personality of Carlos or Ivan before deciding which walking tour guide to get. I've read in some articles that Carlos Celdran injects historical trivia in his walking tours, so you can be certain there will be no dead air, so to speak, during the tour.

Here are their Walking Tour web sites:

Ivan Mandy - Old Manila Walks
