UPCBA Awards

The UP College of Business Administration is proud to announce the following awards won by its faculty and students recently:

Philippine Stock Exchange – Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PSE-PACSB) Online Stock Trading Game 2005.
The UPCBA team won the first prize in the team category of the Philippine Stock Exchange – Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PSE-PACSB) Online Stock Trading Game 2005. The team members are Arbhe Velasquez, Gilda Anabell Uy, Mary Grace Carlos, Anne Lizbeth Joson, and Shiree Amor Roma.

2005 Agora Youth Awards (sponsored by the Philippine Marketing Association).
Jemilee T. Perez (Jem), a graduating BSBA student, was chosen as co-valedictorian in the 2005 Agora Youth Awards sponsored by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA). The PMA awarded seven outstanding marketing students from a pool of 115 candidates representing 14 colleges and universities nationwide. Another UPCBA student made it to the top seven marketing students, Charlene Alice Coyukiat.

UP Junior Marketing Association (UP JMA) was also chosen as one of the three best student marketing organizations in the Philippines. UPJMA is headed by Francesca P. Silvestre.

2005 UP Diliman Gawad Chanselor Awardees
Dr. Ben Paul B. Gutierrez, chairperson of the Department of Business Administration was chosen as the "Pinakamahusay na Administrador"

UP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UPJPIA) was chosen as the "Pinakamahusay na Organisasyong Estudyante." The UPJPIA was also awarded Hall of Fame for winning the award for the third time.
