Firefox vs Internet Explorer

Do you think Firefox will become more popular than Internet Explorer? It depends.

The Inside Track on Firefox Development has this to say about IE7.

Some groups would like to Spread Firefox.

Others encourage you to Get Firefox.

This is what I've seen in a web site visited mostly by people in the Philippines and in Australia:

Dec 2004 - IE (87.5%), Firefox (4.2), Mozilla (2.7), Netscape (2.1)
Jan 2005 - IE (90.1), FF (5.3), M (1), N (1.2)
Feb 2005 - IE (91.7), FF (3.8), M (0.9), N (1.2)

Still, with 25 million downloads of Firefox in 99 days, it would be interesting to see where the "browser wars" will end up. Stay tuned folks!

(I use Firefox because I like the tabbed sheets feature.)
