If you want to maximize the initial free monthly text allocation of your Sun Cellular simcard, the first thing you should do is call 221 (cellphone load balance inquiry).

Imagine getting a new Sun Cellular simcard...

It still has to be activated. Give it around 24 hours.

Really? Hmmm... maybe I can try sending a text to my existing non-Sun phone.

(Tries texting, and successfully receives the SMS text message.)

Eventually, the simcard gets "activated" but when you do a balance inquiry by calling 221, you discover that you have far fewer free texts.
