VoIP Set To Explode Globally

Internet calls to challenge telephone companies -- "Over time, VoIP is going to be a problem for the telephone industry as now constituted, because it's an obvious substitute. So we can expect elements of the telecommunications industry to look for government help -- that is, they'll probably try to regulate VoIP competitors out of existence, or capture control over it somehow. That would be a terrible outcome for the rest of us."
