Three Year Maternity LeaveCongratulations to AnP and J and their baby boy! I was surprised to read that in Germany, they're entitled to three-year maternity leaves, and if you plan to return to work six months after you give birth, you're bound to get some flak. Whoa. Moms here in the Philippines get back to work after a little over a month. And here we are thinking that we're too soft on our kids. Then again, we Pinoys tend to carry our kids too often, right? Three year maternity leaves. Non-stop carrying of kids even in the middle of the night. No matter what country you're in, you're bound to find overly-protective parents. Buti na lang... =) Lifetime maternity leaves, anyone?
