Water Fights

Had mindless fun with my son and pamangkins (2 nephews and a niece), as we had water fights around the house this warm Sunday afternoon. Our arsenal consisted of one cute water pistol, an ear-piercing "Let me play with it!" and a couple of water soakers (see photo in the 'more' section)...

A water soaker is not your grandfather's Popeye water pistol. It comes with a much larger reservoir for water, plus a pump that helps you spray out a stream of water, similar to a water hose. Some call it CPS, or Constant Pressure System.

The ones we used were made in China P40 (about US$0.80) models bought in Divisoria, so even if we occasionally got hit in the face, it just felt like a toddler threw you a teasponful of distilled water.

(Note: It's not safe to aim a water pistol at someone's face. Remember that when you try to seek revenge on your forgetful playmate.)

Anyway, the kids had so much fun that we'll probably take it to the next level and bring them to the park... for a game of capture the flag.

(Or if the weather does not cooperate, we'll just play the computer version of Capture The Flag.)
