Stoneware Dinnerware Set

Several occasions may come up when you may want to consider gifting someone with a stoneware dinnerware set: a wedding; a housewarming; a birthday; or Mother's Day perhaps. For weddings, we'd think that dinnerware sets are useful presents but they will only be useful at the onset if you are sure that the couple will be setting up house on their own right from the start.

Otherwise, your dinnerware set will have to gather dust for a few years in storage. =)

A 32 or 64 piece set will be a good starter for a new house. This will include dinner plates, dessert plates, soup/salad bowls, flatware, and some drinkware (mugs and tumblers). Microwaveable and dishwasher-safe sets will make it more convenient for the recipient to use them.

If you are based in the US and would like to do some shopping for home fashion on the internet, you can check out: www.domestications.com They classify their home items by area (e.g. dining, basic bedding and bath) so it makes it easier to shop for items. Even if you are based in the Philippines and have no intention to shop on the net for such items, you can still get some good gift ideas regarding what to get your friend or relative for that next occasion. You will also get a good handle on the pricing.

Happy shopping! =)
