Fresh Christmas Trees

Are you tired of using your same old Christmas tree which you bought at the department store several Christmases ago? You might want to celebrate the holidays differently this year by enjoying the beauty and fragrance of a real Christmas tree.

In the Philippines, you can get hold of a Fresh Douglas Fir Christmas Tree for only P3,000 (about USD 60.) The trees are 6 to 7 feet in height and if you place your order soon, the suppliers will deliver. I got their flyer at a bazaar somewhere in the Ortigas area last weekend so I guess if you live nearby, delivery should not be a problem.

For inquiries and orders, you can call or text Jo at +63 922 830 0681 or Sharly at +63 917 827 8271. Should you inquire or order from them, we would appreciate it if you will let them know that you read about them here at

The Douglas Fir Christmas Tree is said to be one of best types of trees to turn into a Christmas tree. It has soft, shiny green needles. Depending on how it has been trimmed or cut though, the ease with which it can be decorated differs. If it has been cut into an almost perfect conical shape, there may be little space in between branches to hang decorations so more skill in decorating the tree may be required. Maybe you can ask Jo or Sharly about that?

Make sure you keep your fresh Christmas tree watered well. That's to make sure it lasts till the end of the Christmas season -- which here in the Philippines is till the second Sunday of January!
