Naka-ilang Semana Santa Ka Na? (How Many Holy Weeks Have You Had?)

We temporarily interrupt the India series to give way to Holy Week. As the hubby has written, we did go to a recollection at the Meralco Theater last Palm Sunday. One of the questions posed then was: "Naka-ilang semana santa ka na?"

Silently, I answer - 36 - as Holy Week officially comes but once a year. After some time, I get confused and think of multiplying 36 by 52. Wrong theoretically, actually, but if we reflect further, shouldn't we as Christians, live every week (and every day for that matter) in a holy way?

Jesus Christ died on the cross on Good Friday because of His great love for us. Let us reflect on this and remember this each and every day of our lives. I know it's hard (particularly with all the stresses around us) but maybe this will help us become more patient and loving as we deal with people we encounter.

Have a blessed Holy Week everyone. Pray, reflect, keep the faith. May the joy and peace of Easter be yours.
