Classes were called off yesterday in the Ortigas area. I had to go through a two-hour traffic jam last night. I don't know why we insist on celebrating so-called historical events by disrupting the normal flow of things. Maybe we should all just stay home and observe the day, individually and quietly.

After all, not much has changed. The same pressing problems are still there. We talk about People Power IV and clearly, people power has failed to accomplish anything long-lasting. We should have stopped with the first one is my thinking at this point. It's time to look beyond us, people. Let's look to a higher Power this time.
